NHSCA SUPPORTS RELIEF EFFORT FOR TEXANS DEVASTATED BY SUMMER WILDFIRES

(OLATHE, KS – Oct. 25, 2011)

This summer many Texas communities were devastated by wildfires that damaged or destroyed thousands of homes throughout the state. In recognition of member organization, the Texas Home Service Contract Association, and in support of rebuilding efforts, the National Home Service Contract Association (NHSCA) recently contributed $2,500 to the Texas REALTORS® Relief Fund and encourages other professional associations to do the same.

The Texas REALTORS® Relief Fund provides financial assistance for Texans whose primary residences were damaged or destroyed by wildfires this year. Those wishing to apply for assistance or make a donation can do so by visiting www.TexasRealEstate.com/web/Relief.cfm Since its inception, the Texas REALTORS® Relief Fund has provided more than $1,100,000 in assistance to Texans who have been affected by hurricanes, floods, and other disasters.
